JustLove Talks With Workers and Volunteers One Year After Superstorm Sandy Hit

At the first anniversary of the Superstorm Sandy’s devastation, I interviewed three of those helping in the ongoing recovery.  Once again I was inspired to hear of the dedicated work of Catholic Charities staff and volunteers helping those impacted by Sandy .  Fortunately most of those impacted by Superstorm Sandy were able to quickly recover with short term assistance.  However, disasters impact individuals and communities long after the immediate event – when much of the attention wanes.  For some, Sandy’s destruction was so great and their situations so complex that  the need for help is long-term. Listen to the interviews
