JustLove’s Father’s Day Show and a Look at K-Pop

On this week’s episode, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan talks about the Korean phenomenon K-Pop and Father’s Day.

Fanny Gomez, Social Media Specialist at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York will be speaking about another global phenomenon from Korea that has captured the world’s attention, namely Korean Popular Music, or “K-Pop,” during this week when the world attention was turned to the Korean Peninsula for the summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un.

Prof. Claire Vallotton, Associate Professor for Human Development and Family Studies at Michigan State University, talks about some new research findings regarding the important role that Fathers play in the child’s development, from language and cognitive growth to social skills, reinforcing the idea that early childhood programs should focus on the whole family – including both mothers and fathers.
